Some ads using white.

Tampona
menstrual tampon ad
Germany, Girl! magazine,
issue 21, 1989
Fake
laughter and
White
pants
As I pointed out in roughly
contemporary Tampona
and Kotex ads, laughing,
smiling and wearing white while
menstruating don't necessarily go
together, which is why menstrual
products companies like them.
More white
ads.

Below:
Another laughing fit! More white
pants! (Compare here.)
The faint horizontal stripes
on the white pants are actually a
bleed-through
of text on the back of the page and
not her shirt.
Wait, bleed-through??
That's just what the ad's about!
I thank Tampona for using red,
a mostly
forbidden color in the
industry
for decades because it pointed to
how the companies were making money.
Figure that one out.
The top text reads "Tampona.
Because we know what we want.,"
same as another Tampona ad (bottom
of page).
