Pursettes menstrual tampon,
puberty & menarche booklet,
late 1950s?, U.S.A.
Getting
to Know Yourself
Pursettes, a tampon
with a lubricated tip, and no
longer produced, made this booklet
for teenage girls, possibly in the
late 1950s or early 1960.
The Tambrands research
library kindly gave it to MUM.

Back (to the left of the staples)
& front covers. Somebody at
Tambrands, the company that made
Tampax, typed the
information on the front cover,
probably showing where an ad for
this booklet appeared.
The closed book measures 4 7/8" x
6 7/8" (about 12.4 x 17.4 cm).
