What did women do about menstruation in
the past?

MUSEUM OF MENSTRUATION AND WOMEN'S
HEALTH
Smyle Hygienic
Capsules
(U.S.A., 1940-1960s?)
Prophylactic and/or treatment for sexually
transmitted diseases (STDs), or a
contraceptive,
(spermicide), or both, and for leuchorrhea
(white vaginal discharge)
and as vaginal deodorant, for women
Smyle! Help is
on the way!
Portland,
Oregon, seemed to be a hotbed of of
douche and similar products
as MUM has other products from
that not-large town. Hm, today
it's very liberal . . . .
Just as with Pro-Fo Lactic,
Smyle uses the word exposure
in the instructions
and with exact
time restrictions. But it
does not
list its ingredients,
making it tough to know what it's
combating, STDs or sperm - or
both.

this packet to this museum.
